Following the public outcry, an agreement was reached on Monday between the property owners and representatives for Maricarmen to formalize a new arrangement. Madrid Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida publicly supported the resolution, asserting that the local government remains committed to facilitating solutions in such housing disputes.
