District 3 of the National District has the fewest trees

According to a recent study, Circunscripción 3 in the National District of the Dominican Republic is the demarcation with the lowest quantity and quality of trees. Consequently, this area registers the highest temperatures within the district.

In contrast to Circunscripción 3, the study highlights that Circunscripción 2 presents the best tree coverage in the region. The findings establish a direct correlation between the lack of arborization and elevated temperatures in the urban landscape.
