Colonial City and its new pilot plan for traffic

Beginning Monday, August 17, authorities in Santo Domingo are launching a Traffic Calming Pilot Plan in the Ciudad Colonial. The initiative aims to restrict through-traffic within the area's most monumental polygon.

The measure is designed to prioritize and improve mobility for local residents, visitors, and pedestrians navigating the historic district.
