Colonial City and its new pilot plan for traffic

Starting Monday, August 17, authorities are launching a traffic-calming pilot program in the historic Ciudad Colonial of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The initiative aims to limit through-traffic within the most monumental zone of the district.

The primary objective of the new traffic plan is to prioritize the mobility and safety of local residents, visitors, and pedestrians over general vehicular transit.
