Former CSU student files civil suit against fraternity following alleged sex assault

The suit follows widespread publication of sex assault claims at Cornell University, which has led to renewed conversation about how university cases are handled. A new civil lawsuit filed against the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and some members claims a former Colorado State University fraternity member raped a former student at the fraternity house in October 2024, and the fraternity was negligent.
