Claudia Negri, future dean of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires: “All doctors must have a decent job”

Claudia Negri has been elected as the next dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She will serve alongside Marcelo Melo, who was elected as the future vice-dean. The pair was chosen by unanimous vote to lead the institution.

Negri will make history as the first woman to hold the position of dean at the faculty. In her initial statements following the election, she emphasized a commitment to ensuring dignified working conditions for all medical professionals.
