CNTT calls for investigation into the whereabouts of buses and fuel subsidies

Juan Marte, president of the Central Nacional de Trabajadores del Transporte (CNTT), has formally requested that the new director of the Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Intrant) launch an investigation into the status of 27 imported buses. The request centers on determining the current location and operational status of these vehicles, which were reportedly imported for public transit purposes.

In addition to the inquiry regarding the missing buses, the CNTT is seeking transparency concerning the allocation and management of fuel subsidies. The call for an investigation highlights ongoing concerns regarding the oversight of transportation assets and government-provided financial support within the sector.
