CNTT calls for investigation into the whereabouts of buses and fuel subsidies

Juan Marte, president of the Central Nacional de Trabajadores del Transporte (CNTT), has called on the new director of the Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (Intrant) to investigate the location of 27 imported buses. According to the CNTT's denunciation, these vehicles were originally brought in to be incorporated into the public transportation system.

Alongside the demand regarding the missing buses, the transport union leader also requested an investigation into the distribution of the fuel subsidy. The calls target the leadership of Intrant, the regulatory body overseeing transit and terrestrial transportation in the Dominican Republic.
