Houthi missiles on Riyadh and other cities intercepted, Saudi coalition says

On Saturday at dawn, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired by Houthi forces toward the Saudi capital of Riyadh. The interception was announced by the Saudi-led coalition spokesman, Major General Turki al-Maliki, who stated the action was conducted in accordance with established rules of engagement.

The strike targeted Riyadh as well as other Saudi cities, though the incoming projectiles were successfully neutralized by coalition defense systems. The coalition continues to support Yemen’s internationally recognized government amid ongoing cross-border missile and drone attacks from Houthi forces.
