Building under construction collapses in Mount Vernon

A three-story building with a basement collapsed while under construction in Mount Vernon, located north of New York City, at approximately 9:30 a.m. The structure was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

The collapse resulted in damage to several vehicles parked in the vicinity. No injuries were reported as a result of the structural failure.
