Oaxaca registers a 4.3 magnitude earthquake in Salina Cruz

On August 29, the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) reported two separate seismic events in Mexico. A 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred at 17:36 hours, centered 97 kilometers southeast of Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. Earlier that same day, at 15:43 hours, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded 120 kilometers southwest of Manzanillo, Colima.

Both tremors were identified by official preliminary data provided by the national seismic authority. These events represent localized seismic activity in the coastal regions of Oaxaca and Colima.
