The Florida Gators men's college basketball team has secured the No. 1 ranking in both the preseason AP Top 25 and the preseason Coaches Poll, marking a return to the top spot where the program finished two seasons ago.
In the national consensus, Florida, Duke, and Illinois comprise the top three teams. While the polls largely align at the top, minor differences emerge further down the rankings, with coaches selecting Arizona over UConn for the fourth position.
