Colombia lowers the death toll to nearly 290 and raises the number of injured to approximately 4,150 following Monday's earthquake

Colombian authorities have updated the casualty figures following the earthquake that struck the northwest of the country on Monday. As of Sunday, the death toll has been revised slightly downward to 287.

At the same time, the number of injured individuals has risen significantly to approximately 4,147. This compares to previous reports of 289 fatalities and roughly 3,900 injuries.
