Colombia scrambles to find survivors as quake kills 240

Colombian volunteers and rescue workers are actively searching through rubble for survivors following a major earthquake that struck the country on Tuesday. The disaster has resulted in the deaths of at least 240 people.

In addition to the heavy loss of life, the earthquake caused widespread destruction, leveling more than a hundred homes and office buildings. Search and rescue operations are currently focused on affected areas such as Pereira and Cali, where teams are working at the scenes of destroyed structures.
