Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos inicia audiencias en Panamá

The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) has formally inaugurated its 197th Period of Sessions in Panama. The proceedings began on Monday and are scheduled to take place throughout the week.

During this session, the regional body will examine human rights conditions across more than a dozen countries in the Americas. The commission is set to receive information and testimony regarding the human rights situations in these nations.
