Committee commends AG, CPD for promptly fixing legal gaps

The recognition follows the officials' prompt preparation of the Written Laws (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 2) Bill, 2026, in Dodoma.

The legislative action was initiated after the committee identified specific legal gaps requiring immediate rectification. By drafting the amendments, the Attorney General and the Chief Parliamentary Draftsman have facilitated the parliamentary process to ensure the legal framework remains current and functional.
