Competitors dig deep in Hungarian cemetery's grave-digging contest

On Saturday, 38 competitors gathered in a cemetery in Nyergesujfalu, Hungary, to participate in a grave-digging contest using picks and shovels. The event was organized by the Hungarian Association of Cemetery Maintainers and Operators.

Although the nature of the competition might initially resemble a comedy sketch, organizers and participants treated the event with the utmost seriousness, emphasizing the physical demands and reality of the profession rather than humor.
