Council of Representatives of Verón-Punta Cana conditions approval of the POT

The Concejo de Vocales of the Verón-Punta Cana Municipal District has conditioned its approval of the Territorial Ordering Plan (POT). The decision was announced following persistent questions regarding the land classification of the La Ceiba-El Salado community.

To move forward with the plan, the council is requiring technical verifications to be conducted within the specific community to address the ongoing concerns about how the area is classified under the proposed zoning and planning framework.
