The first days of in-person exams at UNAM conclude without incident after the AI controversy.

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has concluded its first round of in-person entrance examinations without incident in the cities of León and Oaxaca. A total of 2,611 applicants were required to retake the undergraduate admission tests following prior irregularities.

The retesting sessions were scheduled in the wake of a controversy involving artificial intelligence (AI), which had affected the initial examination process and necessitated the administration of these new in-person evaluations.
