Conectividad para el Bienestar se queda sin presupuesto y deja sin internet a millones de mexicanos

The Mexican federal government program Conectividad para el Bienestar has ceased operations due to a lack of funding. The initiative, which provided free SIM cards with mobile data, calls, and text messages, previously served over three million citizens across the country.

The exhaustion of the program's budget has resulted in the immediate loss of internet access for these beneficiaries. The program was originally designed to bridge the digital divide by offering connectivity services at no cost to the user.
