A planetary system with two contrasting worlds has been discovered: one potentially habitable and the other extremely hot.

The Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC), in collaboration with international research centers, has confirmed the discovery of a new planetary system located approximately 337 light-years from Earth. The system consists of two distinct planets orbiting a red dwarf star. Researchers have characterized the planets as being opposites in nature, with one identified as potentially habitable and the other as an extremely hot world covered in lava. The findings provide new data on the diversity of planetary systems orbiting red dwarf stars.
