Council of the Judiciary defines roadmap for renewing the Supreme Court

The National Council of the Magistracy (CNM) in the Dominican Republic has established the procedural path for the renewal of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ). This development follows the formal announcement by the president of the SCJ, Luis Henry Molina, and SCJ judge Nancy Salcedo, who also serves as secretary of the CNM, that they will not seek reappointment to their positions on the high court.

These departures initiate a process for the selection and replacement of two seats within the Supreme Court. The CNM is now tasked with managing the transition as it moves forward with the established roadmap for judicial appointments.
