Council of the Judiciary defines roadmap for renewing the Supreme Court

The National Council of the Magistracy (CNM) in the Dominican Republic has established the procedural framework for the upcoming renewal of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ). This process follows the formal announcement by the current president of the SCJ, Luis Henry Molina, and the council's secretary, judge Nancy Salcedo, that they will not seek reelection to their respective positions.

These departures initiate a transition within the high court, necessitating the selection of new members to fill the vacancies. The CNM is now tasked with managing the appointment process to ensure the continued operation and composition of the judiciary's highest body.
