National Council of the Judiciary and the Supreme Court of Justice

The National Council of the Magistracy (CNM) conducted interviews this Tuesday with seven Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) magistrates seeking ratification for their positions. These proceedings follow the conclusion of the terms for 11 SCJ judges, including the court's president, four months ago.

The interviews represent a formal step in the judicial selection process as the CNM works to address the vacancies within the high court. The outcome of these evaluations will determine the composition of the Supreme Court following the expiration of the previous judicial mandates.
