Conservative Larry Brock officially resigns from House of Commons

Conservative Member of Parliament Larry Brock has officially resigned from the House of Commons, concluding his five-year tenure representing the riding of Brantford-Brant South. The resignation follows an announcement made by Brock last month regarding his intention to step down from his parliamentary duties.

Brock intends to return to his previous career as a Crown prosecutor. Following his departure, a byelection will be scheduled to fill the vacant seat in the House of Commons.
