Construction of the Guayajayuco bridge has still not started

The construction of the bridge over the Artibonito River in Guayajayuco, Elías Piña province, has yet to commence. Despite an official groundbreaking ceremony held by the Minister of Public Works, Eduard Ferreras, no physical progress has been observed at the site as of this week.

Twenty-one days have passed since the project's initiation, leading to growing concern among local residents. The community, which initially viewed the project with optimism, is now expressing apprehension regarding the delay in the start of construction activities.
