Roberto Ramos Alor, coordinator of IMSS-Bienestar in Veracruz, has blamed "hate and envy" for the controversy surrounding him after he insulted resident physicians in the state.

Addressing the public on Saturday, Ramos Alor defended himself while attending the presidential report of Claudia Sheinbaum in Veracruz. He cautioned the public to be wary of what he described as "montages" and "hate campaigns" aimed at generating the controversy.
