Cop found dead at May Pen Police Station identified

CLARENDON, Jamaica — The police constable who was found dead with a wound to the neck inside the May Pen Police Station Monday afternoon has been identified. He is Constable Kenroy Pitters, a native of Mile Gully, Manchester believed to be in his early 30s. Preliminary reports are that sometime before 6:00 pm, police personnel had to breach an office door after they became suspicious about the whereabouts of their colleague when the grisly discovery was made.

Up to late Monday, police were processing the scene at the rear of the police station and Clarendon division headquarters. The incident has been classified as a death investigation by the police.
