Court upholds ex-soldier Lisa Smith's conviction for membership of terrorist group Islamic State

The Court of Appeal in Ireland has upheld the conviction of former Irish soldier Lisa Smith for membership of the terrorist organization Islamic State. The court rejected all grounds of appeal presented by the defense, resulting in the dismissal of her challenge against the original verdict.
