362-acre brush fire burning near Lancaster

Firefighters have stopped forward progress on the Jarvis Fire, a 362-acre brush fire burning in the community of Antelope Acres, northwest of Lancaster. The fire started at about 30 acres in size around 3:57 p.m. near the intersection of Avenue H and 90th Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Crews are responding to a brush fire near Palmdale that has grown to 200 acres, according to authorities. Evacuation warnings have been issued.
