Lima Metro Line 2 reaches 96% completion: these are the planned dates for its operation

The construction of the Lima and Callao Metro Line 2 has reached a 96% completion rate, according to the latest report from the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Public Use Transport Infrastructure (Ositran). Work is currently progressing across multiple construction fronts to finalize the project infrastructure.

The project aims to improve transit connectivity within the metropolitan area. While the current status confirms significant physical progress, the operational timeline remains subject to the scheduled completion of these ongoing construction phases.
