Cuba faces diplomatic crisis with the Dominican Republic on its centennial

Cuba and the Dominican Republic are currently navigating one of their most delicate diplomatic episodes in years. The crisis coincides with the centenary of the birth of Fidel Castro, the leader of the Cuban Revolution.

As part of this diplomatic friction, nine members of the Cuban mission alongside their family members have been withdrawn from Santo Domingo.
