Cubalex registró 12 muertes bajo custodia del régimen durante septiembre, la cifra más alta desde febrero de 2026

During the month of September, the legal aid organization Cubalex documented 12 deaths under the custody of the Cuban regime. This represents the highest monthly figure recorded by the organization since February 2026.

Of the total reported cases, 10 deaths occurred inside penitentiary establishments. The remaining two fatalities involved young individuals who were serving in the country's Obligatory Military Service.
