Cyprus to fund restoration of historic Gaza church damaged in 2023 Israeli strike

Cyprus has announced plans to provide €150,000 in funding to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem to restore the historic Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza.

The Greek Orthodox church sustained partial damage during an Israeli bombardment that occurred on October 19, 2023.
