Victims, the other reality after the earthquake in Colombia

Following a powerful earthquake that struck Colombia, numerous families and children have been left displaced, with their homes reduced to ruins. Among the affected is Sebastián, a nine-year-old child and the second of six siblings, who expressed the memory of his destroyed home through a drawing of a house alongside a rainbow.

While emergency responses typically focus on immediate rescue and structural damage, the aftermath highlights the profound psychological and social toll on vulnerable populations, particularly children. Group activities and creative distractions are being utilized to help these young victims cope with the trauma of displacement and the loss of their living environments.
