Diego Sebastián “N” and Gerardo “N” are remanded in custody for the crime against the keyboardist of Camilo Séptimo and his family

A Mexican judge has formally linked Diego Sebastián “N” and Gerardo “N” to the September 1 homicide of Jonathan Meléndez, a keyboardist and co-founder of the band Camilo Séptimo, along with his pregnant wife and daughter. The two suspects have been placed in preventive detention following the legal proceedings initiated on Wednesday, September 9, in the State of Mexico.

Separately, in an unrelated incident in Tultitlán, five members of a family who died from intoxication while traveling in a public van were laid to rest on September 9. The funeral services for the victims of the Tultitlán incident took place in Ecatepec before their interment at the municipal cemetery.
