Dashain travel rush builds, with traffic jams on some routes

As the Dashain festival approaches, a significant travel rush is building as people leave the Kathmandu Valley. Police report that traffic is currently being managed along the affected routes to handle the outflow of travelers.

However, transport operators have raised concerns that repeated road closures are causing disruptions to these holiday journeys, complicating travel efforts during the busy festive period.
