David Collado launches the “Tourism Close to You” program in Puerto Plata

Dominican Republic Minister of Tourism David Collado launched the national program "Turismo Cerca de Ti" on Thursday in Puerto Plata. The initiative was introduced to integrate local communities and various sectors within the tourism value chain.

The primary objective of the program is to strengthen tourism destinations across the country by fostering greater collaboration and participation among local stakeholders.
