De estudiar buscando señal de internet en Amazonas a quedar primera de su promoción: Ana, la joven awajún que sueña con volver como docente

Ana Wajajai Savio, a 19-year-old from the Awajún indigenous community, has graduated at the top of her academic promotion after previously having to search for internet signals in the Amazon region to study. Originally from the native community of Wawas in the Imaza district, Bagua province, she relocated to Lima to pursue higher education after securing a scholarship.

Following her academic success, Savio harbors ambitions of returning to her home region to work as an educator, bridging educational gaps for future generations in her community.
