Louzán says he is "finalizing" the renewal of Luis de la Fuente's contract and "perhaps" it will extend beyond 2030.

Luis de la Fuente is set to renew his contract as the head coach of the Spanish national football team until at least 2030. The upcoming extension was announced in Madrid on Wednesday by Rafael Louzán, the president of the Real Federation Española de Fútbol (RFEF).

Under the terms of the new agreement, de la Fuente will also enter the ranks of the ten highest-paid national team managers globally. Prior to this announcement, his previous contract was scheduled to run until a later unspecified date.
