An Argentine racing driver with Down syndrome has achieved a milestone in motorsport by transitioning from video games to the racetrack, competing at a kartodrome in Zárate, approximately 80 kilometers from the capital of Argentina.

At the Zárate kartódromo, the roar of the engine drowns out other sounds and helmets erase differences among the young drivers, creating an environment free of advantages or prejudices where the driver accomplished his historic feat.
