DEA highlights operation in the Dominican Republic that seized 1,360 packages of cocaine

The Caribbean Division of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has officially recognized and congratulated the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and other authorities in the Dominican Republic. The commendation follows a major anti-narcotics operation conducted within the country.

During the successful joint effort, law enforcement authorities seized 1,360 packages of cocaine. The operation represents a significant interdiction in the ongoing regional efforts to combat drug trafficking organizations operating through the Caribbean.
