Death toll from Chongqing landslide in southwestern China climbs to 41

Authorities announced that the death toll from a landslide earlier this month in Chongqing, southwestern China, has risen to 41. Recovery teams identified 30 additional victims over the past week.

In addition to the confirmed fatalities, 20 people remain missing, and 10 individuals sustained injuries. Search and recovery operations continue at the site.
