Delcy Rodríguez hopes the oil agreement will benefit the US people and defends the alliance

On Wednesday, Venezuelan Acting President Delcy Rodríguez expressed her expectation that the newly announced oil agreement between Caracas and Washington will benefit the people of the United States. Her remarks followed the official signing of energy deals involving transnational corporations Chevron and Eni.

The large-scale petroleum convention between Caracas and Washington was initially announced on Friday. Rodríguez's public defense of the alliance and the subsequent corporate agreements mark a notable development in bilateral energy relations between the two countries.
