Juanes launches campaign with artists and athletes to repair areas affected by earthquake

On August 25, regional efforts were announced to address the aftermath of recent seismic activity. In Colombia, singer Juanes and his foundation, Mi Sangre, launched a campaign titled 'Marea Viva, por el Chocó de mañana' in partnership with various organizations and athletes. The initiative aims to raise 15 billion pesos to support reconstruction efforts in affected areas.

Simultaneously, in Venezuela, acting president Delcy Rodríguez signed legislation intended to accelerate housing construction. This move follows a double earthquake on June 24 that resulted in over 6,500 fatalities and displaced approximately 17,900 individuals.
