Delta, United ban humanoid and animal robots from flights

Major U.S. carriers Delta Air Lines and United Airlines have implemented new policies prohibiting humanoid and animal robots from boarding their aircraft.

Under the updated regulations, the robotic devices are barred from traveling in both the passenger cabins and the cargo holds of flights operated by the two airlines.

The restrictions apply to all variations of humanoid and animal-shaped robots, marking a significant operational shift regarding emerging technologies and baggage policies aboard commercial aircraft.
