Denuncias por contrabando y evasión fiscal aumentan 45% en Costa Rica, según Hacienda

Between January and July of this year, the Ministry of Finance in Costa Rica received 3,757 complaints regarding alleged tax evasion and smuggling.

This figure represents a 45% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. According to authorities, the rise in reported cases coincides with a higher volume of product seizures by the government.
