Trujillo's deposit in Banreservas ends up in favor of the State

A 76-year-old financial deposit made by former Dominican dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo in the Banco de Reservas (Banreservas) has officially been resolved in favor of the Dominican State.

The ruling concludes a prolonged legal battle initiated by two of Trujillo's children, who sought to recover the funds originally intended for their mother, Lina Altagracia Lovatón Pittaluga.
