Trujillo's deposit in Banreservas ends up in favor of the State

The Dominican state has secured a legal victory regarding a bank deposit made 76 years ago by former dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo at the Banco de Reservas. The funds were the subject of a long-standing judicial dispute initiated by two of Trujillo's children, who sought to reclaim the money on behalf of their mother, Lina Altagracia Lovatón Pittaluga. The court ruling effectively prevents the heirs from recovering the assets, confirming the state's claim to the deposit.
