NewzA mobile home was destroyed by a fire Tuesday morning in Fort Lauderdale, fire rescue officials confirmed. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials said they received multiple calls shortly after 9:45 a.m. reporting a mobile home on fire in the 1000 block of Northeast 63rd Court.They said firefighters arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.
One adult who was inside at the time safely evacuated, while a second resident was away when the fire started, according to FLFR officials. Officials said first responders extinguished the fire after about 20 minutes, using water and firefighting foam. They said no injuries were reported.According to FLFR officials, neighbors told firefighters that a pet cat may have been inside the home, but crews were unable to locate the animal.
Its status is unknown at this time. A fire investigator was at the scene working to determine what caused the fire, according to authorities. No other details about the fire were immediately released.

It should be noted that (Torres) never advised a supervisor of the money belonging to the victim.”Deputies took Torres, of Palmetto Bay, into custody on a third-degree grand theft charge.As of Tuesday morning, Torres was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $2,500 bond.Local 10 News has contacted ICE and Akima seeking comment on the case.
